During a crypto tour in Africa to document and cover the African crypto space, BitKE caught up with a crypto gaming guild, dubbed Crypto Gaming United, in Lusaka, Zambia, to explore how Zambian students are earning from blockchain games.
BitKE spoke to the founder of Crypto Gaming United (CGU), as well as some of the students that are under the guild benefiting from Play-to-Earn (P2E) games like Axie Infinity in the country.
Axie Infinity recently announced its NFTs have surpassed $4 billion in all-time sales. It is impressive to see some of these African communities leveraging P2E blockchain games and helping drive more awareness of this use case across the continent.
