The trading of the first regulated tokens, or regulated digital securities, officially began today (1). Vórtx QR Tokenizadora began its operation with the issuance of 74,000 debenture tokens from Salinas Administração de Participações, which is a type of fundraising by companies, and 8,000 shares of QR Rispar Crédito Cripto I – Fundo de Investimento em Direitos Creditorios (FIDC) of A QR Asset, a partner in the tokenization company, which is backed by bitcoin. With the platform, a primary and secondary market is created that gives more access to fundraising by companies that currently have difficulty raising capital in the way the financial market works today. In addition, it opens up more possibilities for investors.

Each token represents a debenture or a share of the fund. The project uses the Hathor blockchain, created by Brazilians. It is a public blockchain and the costs are at the time of issuance. As agreed with the CVM, Vórtx QR Tokenizadora focuses on qualified and professional customers, that is, with financial investments above R$ 1 million and R$ 10 million, respectively. No wonder, who conducted the company’s launch event this morning in São Paulo was Pablo Spyer, owner of the jargon “Vai Tourinho” and CEO of the company of the same name, which is a partnership with XP. He is one of the main influencers of the financial market and the so-called “Faria Limers”.
