Liqi launches agricultural solutions company receivables token

Liqi offers Bio Token, linked to agriculture, at R$25.

The crypto exchange and tokenizer liquid announced today (29) the launch of the Bio Token, which will anticipate payments that the SoluBio Agricultural Technologies have to receive. Thus, the company anticipates with the tokens what, in general, it does in operations with traditional institutions of the financial system.

For those who buy the token, the price of the crypto asset will be BRL 25, with a discount on the value of the receivables, says Liq. There will be a yield of 1.20% per month of flow from these company receivables, says Liqi. One of the due dates is August 30th and the other two are September 30th. The goal is to sell R$ 180 thousand.

SoluBio created a tool for the production of bioinputs on the farm using technology. This allowed a cost reduction of up to 70% for partner producers in the cultivation of soy, corn, wheat, cotton, sugarcane, coffee and hortifruti. The company is a spin-off of Agroplan, a services company focused on consulting, advisory and precision agriculture.

“Receivables tokens are backed by unique assets,” said Daniel Coquieri, CEO of Liqi. For Alber Martins Guedes, CEO of SoluBio, receivables tokens are a different proposition from cryptocurrencies, as they are less volatile.
