The Liberal Democratic Party Digital Society Promotion Headquarters NFT Policy Review PT (Chairman Masaaki Taira) announced on the 30th that it has compiled “NFT White Paper (Draft) -Japan’s NFT Strategy with an Eye on the Web3.0 Era” .
According to the announcement, issues and recommendations were organized on 24 issues in line with the following six themes.
1) Formulation of national strategy and establishment of promotion system
2) Measures necessary for the development of NFT business
3) Measures necessary for protecting the rights of content holders
4) Measures necessary for protecting users
5) For sound development of the BC ecosystem that supports the NFT business Necessary measures
6) Measures necessary for protecting social legal interests
In the summary version of the white paper, there is a sense of crisis that “the arrival of the Web3.0 (Web3) era is a big opportunity for Japan, but we will definitely miss it as it is now.” As a result, it is recognized that early infrastructure and rule development are important.
The white paper announced this time is said to be in the final form at the draft stage.
