From November 15 to 20, it will take place LABITCONF 2021. For the first time, four of the leading crypto industry event organizers in the region lined up to host a historic gathering in The Savior.
This conference, which reaches its ninth edition, will have a program that will combine face-to-face and virtuality, in an agenda with more than 150 international references in more than 40 talks, which were officially revealed by the organizers of the event.
“With this agenda we want everyone who attends LABITCONF to understand the specific applications and the future impact that this asset can represent in the industry. We hope to clearly present the potential, the advantages in transparency, reliability, time and cost efficiency of this type of transaction. This technology is disruptive and has applications in all industries, for this reason we created a program with the purpose of educating participants to be prepared for the trends of the crypto world, ”said Rodolfo Andragnes, general organizer of the conference.
The agenda includes various activities
The event agenda will begin with the Hackathon, which will take place at the Club CĂrculo Militar on November 15 and 16. This event will consist of challenges that must be solved using programming languages ​​in Blockchain, this being one of the most demanded and best paid knowledge in the global workplace. The winning team of this competition will be able to claim a prize of 5,000 dollars both in the hackathon developed in person and online.
On Wednesday, November 17, the talks will begin to understand the potential of Bitcoin in the country and in the international market. There will be four hours of open mic and more than 12 lectures that will explain different types of cryptocurrencies, why this digital asset represents an opportunity for the region and will delve much more about the freedom to carry out transactions with this currency. This day highlights in the programming the session “Investment strategies to reduce speculation”, in which it will talk about the actions that Salvadorans can take to be more prepared before the volatility and uncertainties of this digital asset in order to promote the security in this type of digital transactions.
Another outstanding talk on Wednesday will be “Bitcoin price: Past, present and future ”, which will explain the impact of the new measures or regulations of the industry and the possible value of this currency in the future. Likewise, the conference “How to identify and avoid scams in the crypto world” has become one of the most striking spaces for attendees, as it will explain the main techniques used by experts to prevent cyber fraud when investing with Bitcoin.
On Thursday 18, more than 15 talks will be held whose main focus will be to understand how the Bitcoin impacts society, companies and politics, from the perspective of investors in this industry. This day the challenges of going from zero to four million Bitcoin users in two months will be explained, the challenges of implementing the Bitcoin Law, money laundering and even transactional tools will be shared for companies. The first featured conference will be “Bitcoin as universal income and engine of social and economic development.”
Another key space for the audience will be “The war between the digital currencies of the Central Banks, the dollar and the role of Bitcoin ”, which will seek to explain the projection of the crypto world with the dollar and what role this currency will play in the economic future of the country.
In the talk “Unlimited Printing, Debt and Power vs Bitcoin”, which will be led by Max Keizer, it will be explained how Bitcoin has gained more popularity over time, breaking many traditional financial schemes globally.
Friday the 19th will be a day focused on more technical and social issues. The agenda for this day will have 17 talks that range from what are the next developments in Bitcoin, to successful cases of the use of bitcoin in ordinary people and awards to social projects. That day will take place the conference “Thoughts on the necessary infrastructure for the legal adoption of global bitcoin”. In this space it will be discussed whether the industry is technically and structurally prepared for various countries to emulate the El Salvador project.
Bitcoin privacy will also be key at the conference. The talk “The challenging path to privacy in Bitcoin” will show what are the biggest challenges to migrate Bitcoin to a more private system. On the other hand, the session “DeFi & Cefi in Bitcoin, financial tools without selling your Bitcoins ”, will explain what solutions can be mounted on the digital currency in order to know deeply the range of services that the ecosystem can offer.
