In Mexico they will accept Bitcoin in entertainment centers

Bitso and the GICSA Group join forces to accept payments with cryptocurrencies in Mexican shopping centers.

The Bitso cryptocurrency trading platform and the Gicsa shopping center investment and marketing developer company announced an alliance that will allow the use of cryptocurrencies in GICSA shopping centers in Mexico.

This alliance between the GICSA Group and Bitso, focuses, among other things, on adding new products and services that can be purchased through payments with Bitcoin (BTC), through the Bitso app, a service that will be available in the market. for users from this March 4, 2022.

In the first stage of the initiative, the shopping centers of the GICSA Group in Paseo Querétaro, Explanada Puebla, Explanada Pachuca and Forum Cuernavaca, will offer visitors the possibility of making “crypto payments” within Contender Go-Karts to purchase their races.

The statement also highlights that payments in cryptocurrencies will be carried out through the service offered by the exchange: Bitso Transfer, which is available within the app and that allows making and receiving payments without cost or commissions between Bitso users.

For her part, Frida Vargas, Business Development Manager of Bitso, states that this alliance reinforces the “commitment and mission” of bringing cryptocurrencies within everyone’s reach.

“This alliance with GICSA excites us and also reinforces our commitment and mission to make cryptocurrencies a useful and accessible technology for anyone, since we are sure that the opportunities they offer are enormous to revolutionize the way of paying in Mexico and the world” , he highlighted.

While for the GICSA Group, this initiative will enrich the user experience by accepting another payment method such as digital currencies, in shopping malls and entertainment businesses in the region.
