In Chile they will offer a seminar on Blockchain technology for public administrations

The executive secretary of the Chilean Association of Municipalities clarified that the seminar that will be dictated by the zoom platform would have no cost, extending the invitation to the associated Municipalities, so that they participate in the seminar that will be held this next month.

This seminar aims to implement the technology Blockchain on the management municipal, in order to allow optimization of the administrative system in a safe and transparent way.

The seminar will have the participation of the Metropolitan Technological University (UTM) accompanied by the company Reimagine group, who will present successful use cases in municipal management with the use of this technology.

According to the organizers, Blockchain technology allows the municipality to improve and protect the integrity of the data to avoid a possible manipulation of this stored data, as well as allows them to monitor the changes made in the registry almost in real time.

The management of the municipality is often complicated because most of the records are on paper. Blockchain will be easier at the time of storing a record in a distributed network that improves the management of the municipality in its data and records networks, at the same time that it provides security by eliminating the risk of a point of failure and making manipulation by third parties more difficult; while maintaining the integrity of certified records.

The use of Blockchain also allows the certification of user information, allowing them to enter different parts of the system operated by the users of the municipality, and granting the required permissions almost in real time.
