GoLedger, a provider of blockchain solutions, was one of the twenty companies that won the III public notice of the Petrobras Connections for Innovation Program – Startups module. The company is in the group of projects in digital technologies. Startups that reach the end with successful projects may become suppliers to the oil company and other companies in the sector.

This is the largest selection of its kind in the oil, gas and energy sector, says Petrobras. That’s because startups will receive a total of R$22 million. The contributions will be up to R$ 500 thousand or up to R$ 1.5 million, depending on the category – deep tech or soft tech.

Project verticals include, in addition to digital technologies (12), robotics (3), inspection technologies (2), geological modeling (2) and energy efficiency (1). The signing of contracts and the start of work should take place at the beginning of next February.

Petrobras will also provide technical mentoring and management support with Sebrae consultants. At the end of the process, successfully completed projects have the possibility of meeting the demands not only of Petrobras, but also of becoming suppliers in the oil and gas production chain.
