A Socios.com started selling today (2), at 10:00 am, the Corinthians fan token, the $SCCP. On the platform, the opening price was 2 euros (about R$13). As with other fan tokens that Socios.com has launched, those who buy will be entitled, for example, to promotions, rewards and participation in surveys.
The team from São Paulo will initially have 850,000 tokens on the platform. Initiatives like Socios.com are a new way for clubs to raise funds and engage fans. Other teams already have tokens, such as Vasco and Atlético Mineiro.
To buy the token, the fan or investor must first buy the Chiliz (CHZ) token on a cryptocurrency exchange. The acquisition of $SCCP on Socios.com takes place through the platform’s app, where the CHZ is exchanged for a Corinthians token.
The Bitcoin Market will also sell the Corinthians token starting this month. In addition, the cryptocurrency exchange signed an agreement with the São Paulo club for financial education and cryptocurrencies and will have its name on the team’s shirt. The agreement for the logo on the shirt runs from September 2021 to December 2022. With this, the Bitcoin Bolsa Market seeks visibility and revenue among the more than 30 million fans of the São Paulo club.
