CoinPayments and Guru close partnership.
CoinPayments, the world’s first cryptocurrency payment processor, has partnered with Digital Manager Guru, a platform for digital sales solutions. One of the company’s main strategies in Brazil is to partner with fintechs, e-commerce platforms and large networks to increase the use of their services faster.
Thus, Guru customers will be able to receive cryptocurrencies for the sales of their products or services. CoinPayments will stand alongside other payment services that Guru offers its customers. Among them are Mercado Pago and PayPal – which also have projects with cryptocurrencies -, Ebanx and Cielo.
Cryptocurrency transactions are not only cheaper compared to other options, “but they have other advantages such as processing efficiency and fraud reduction”, says Rubens Neistein, Business Manager at CoinPayments in Brazil. “The payments market charges 3%, on average, per transaction. CoinPayments’ fee is 0.5%,” he states.
Guru is a platform for online retailers to operationalize and manage their digital strategy in a unified way; In 2021, Guru’s clients moved more than BRL 400 million in Brazil. The forecast is that this volume will exceed R$ 1 billion in 2022.
already the CoinPayments plans to close 2022 with around 5,000 direct customers in Brazil using its system and US$ 400 million (R$ 2.2 billion) in transactions. Therefore, it works with a 125% growth in the number of user businesses and 110% in values ​​compared to 2021, as Neistein told Blocknews.
