Bitso announces that it has entered the Colombian market | blocknews


The Mexican and unicorn Bitso, one of the largest platforms in Latin America, announced its official expansion in Colombia. The operation is part of the La Arenera project, of the country’s Superintendence. The objective is to provide a pilot space for the financial ecosystem to test products and services incorporating the use of cryptocurrencies.

“We are testing our products and services, designing a regulatory framework that takes into account the entire financial services ecosystem, such as banks, brokers and regulators,” said Emilio Pardo, General Director of Bitso in Colombia.
