Digital real: BC wants to use tools like smart contracts for flexibility.

The Central Bank (BC) will do, this Thursday (30), the webinar “Smart contracts, IoT and programmable money”. It’s the fourth of seven dates of the series “O Real Digital” that will take place until November. Panelists will be Shailee Adinolfi, Director of Accounts and Strategic Sales at Consensys, LuĂ­s Kondic, Director of Listed Products and Data at B3, and Marcos Viriato, CEO of Parfin.

The webinar is online and open to the public. Transmission is by Canal do BC no YouTube. The moderation will be by Mardilson Queiroz, consultant to the Department of Regulation of the Financial System of the Central Bank of Brazil. The discussion will be from 11am to 12pm.

Womcy meets to discuss education and career programs

WOMCY (Women in Cybersecurity), an organization that promotes professional development and increased participation of women in the cybersecurity segment, will hold the second edition of its annual meeting this Thursday (30). The event will be online at 7:30 pm. “We are going to show the activities we are developing and invite new volunteers and members to our programs and actions”, says André Thomé, Brazil leader at WOMCY.

According to Andrea, in 2021 the focus is on training through actions with partners such as Cisco, Fortinet and Microsoft, managed by the WOMCY Training Center program. The organization already has more than 750 volunteers in Brazil, who are also men. Activities include, for example, lectures, mentoring, job mapping and career information.
