Women who are pioneering the blockchain ecosystem.
This March 8th, International Women’s Day, Blocknews remembers the women we’ve had contact with in recent months, who were mentioned in reports or because they help build the blockchain ecosystem on a daily basis. They are portrayed in the main image of this article to remind us that, courageously and competently, they are pioneering the world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, where white men dominate the work scenario, being about 70% of it.
On Blocknews, female readers represent 31% of the total. Possibly more than they represent among professionals in the field and investors. There are few ecosystem startups with female founders or advisors. Our efforts are for the numbers to be more and more balanced. That’s why we have the Women in Blockchain section and today we pay tribute to women in the image collage. But making it clear that they represent all women on blockchain in Brazil and other countries.
