Lawyers Hub Kenya Hosting the Global Legal Hackathon 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya


The Global Legal Hackathon 2019 is scheduled for February 22-24 2019 and seeks to attract developers, techies, and legal firms. In Kenya, the event will be hosted by the Lawyers Hub Kenya in Nairobi.

The event has also been supported by the Law Society of Kenya. Blockchain developers are invited to participate.

The Global Legal Hackathon 2019 organizes law schools, law firms and in-house departments, legal technology companies, governments, developers, and service providers to innovation in the legal industry – across the globe. It brings together the best thinkers, doers, and practitioners in law in support of a unified vision:

Rapid development of solutions to improve the legal industry world-wide.

Global Legal Hackathon Registration

In order to get the full Hivebrite experience, users must follow a 3-step process:

1. Register on the Hivebrite platform.

2. Join a group (city or GROWL).

3. Register for events in that group.

Join Hivebrite Platform-Participant

#GLH wants all participants to join the platform before they register to the event. This allows all hosts and participants to communicate with one another. You can have a global view of all of the events on the platform. Note: In order to give someone admin access they need to register as a user first.

Join Host City or Group -Participant

Groups or Host Cities is where users find and engage with other like-minded people in the community. This can be a city or group of interest. Here, a user can join a group and then join any event they are hosting, such as #GLH2019
