Cristiana Arcangeli and Álvaro Garnero fight in court over negotiation with suspicious crypto company | blocknews

Cristiana Arcangeli says that ex-boyfriend Álvaro Garnero is a hidden partner in the company.

Businesswoman Cristiana Arcangeli, who accuses Álvaro Garneiro’s businessman of having co-opted her to invest US$300,000 (about R$1.5 million) in a crypto-asset fraudulent scheme, negotiated the contract and explained the matter to her ex-boyfriend. . The case involves Hibridus, which at least since 2018 has been under investigation for cryptocurrency fraud. The information was published last night (24) in Mônica Bergamo’s column, in Folha de S. Paulo.

Hibridus offered investments with fixed earnings, something completely out of place with cryptocurrencies. This is because cryptocurrencies are very volatile, that is, prices rise and fall more often and with more force than stocks on the stock exchange, for example.

Thus, in a pre-fixed offer, it may happen, for example, that the price of the cryptocurrency rises, but the investor does not earn everything he could because the owner of the business keeps a good part of the gain to cover costs and the risk of having promised. cover losses. Also, it can happen that you have a limited loss if you are lucky to have a small price loss at the time of withdrawal. There is also the possibility that, in a large loss of cryptocurrency price, the owner of the business will lose a lot. And then, either the business involves structuring at least poorly done or something else is wrong. And if the investor doesn’t get what he owed back, then he’s wrong.

Cris Arcangeli, as she is known in the world of business and national celebrities, invested in the Hibridus Club, owned by Hélio Caxias Ribeiro Filho and Thalia Alves Ribeiro. The same one that created Meu Pé de Bitcoin. The investment took place between 2017 and 2018.

In the lawsuit against Garnero, who is a partner at Brasilinvest, the accusation is of embezzlement, criminal organization and money laundering. And he claims that the “ex” was a hidden partner and that he attracted investors for the companies. Cristiana Arcangeli, who participated in the Reality Shark Tank Brasil, says that she had no return with the money she transferred to the businessman’s account in New York. And who asked for the money back, even without winnings, but also failed.

According to columnist Mônica Bergamo da Folha, text and audio messages show Cristiana negotiating her investment with Ribeiro Filho. According to the column, the entrepreneur who created, for example, the cosmetics company Phytoervas, asks when she would receive the contract and details what was agreed. In this case, 12 months of contract, gain in bitcoin, payment every three months, 5 bitcoins per quarter and a maximum loss of 4%.

His idea was to hold the coins for a while, to avoid swings and sell when the price allowed gains. And he states that the negotiation with Hibridus established a gain, but in the market, the gain was greater. The difference was with Ribeiro Filho, on account of custody, which Cristiana did not think was fair.

But Cristiana’s lawyers say they do not recognize the messages and that their authenticity has never been proven. In addition, lawyer Pedro Abrão stated that the client did not accept the terms of the deal and never signed documents to make the investments. Abram stated that the businesswoman wanted the money back, but never received it.
