Crypto.com will allow Argentines and Mexicans to transfer USD from their bank account

Through its official account on Twitter, the giant global cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com announced that it will allow transfers in USD to residents of Latin American countries located in Argentina and Mexico.

As part of its global expansion strategy for transfers in US dollars, the platform announced that users from some 37 countries will now be able to transfer fiat currency from their bank account to the application; receiving in turn the stablecoin USDC credited to your account within the platform.

With this expansion, Crypto.com now adds 60 countries that allow funding their accounts with fiat currency directly from a bank transfer at a 1: 1 ratio with the USDC, allowing both withdrawals and deposits for users of the beneficiary countries.

In addition to Argentina and Mexico, countries such as Thailand, the Philippines and India are part of the list of 37 countries that will immediately have this fiat-crypto ramp directly on the global platform.

It is worth noting that the platform continues to apply the 25 USD charge to SWIFT transfers (interbank) for each withdrawal made from its platform by affiliated users.

Crypto.com is a global cryptocurrency platform with more than 10 million users that allows you to exchange around 30 digital currencies through its application, while trying to fill a natural ramp between the traditional fiat world and the alternative cryptocurrency world.

The company recently partnered with Italy’s first division soccer league, Serie A, to be present at key moments within the broadcasts of the league’s soccer matches; thus increasing its exposure within the European and global markets.
