Blockchain Academy Chile offers 10 scholarships to specialize in Blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies

The Blockchain Academy Chile sponsors the granting of 10 scholarships to specialize in Blockchain and cryptocurrencies to those who meet the requirement to fill out a survey which aims to determine the adoption and acceptance of cryptocurrencies in the country.

As announced at the Blockchain meetup sponsored by Polkadot last January 14 in Santiago, Chile, the Academy has created an electronic survey, and to increase participation in the survey, it offers the possibility of being awarded a scholarship by the academy in one of the courses offered on the platform.

Cristobal Pereira indicated that: “The evidence is clear in recognizing the robustness that this technology has today and will have in the future. Today, we are on the verge of a Fintech Law that could lay the foundations for a new digital economy, therefore providing more tools for this industry, its users and its main adoptions will be an important step to become a country in an innovation hub. financial”.

This initiative is born from the question: how much do we know about cryptocurrencies in the country? indicates Pereira, because by October 2021 Chainalysis issued a report in which the 4 countries with the highest acceptance in Latin America were Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil, and within the top 20 in the world Chile is not mentioned, despite the fact that the general adoption of cryptocurrencies increased by 880% thanks to the uses of p2p platforms in several emerging countries.

Cristobal indicates that: “Given that Chile does not appear in this report, it seems important to us to be able to know and share the state of use and adoption of this new class of assets in the country”.

This is why the Blockchain Academy Chile sponsors the general development of this survey, in which both people who have interacted with cryptoassets and those who have not had that experience can answer, because it is precisely what is intended to determine, the level of usability and adoption of cryptocurrencies in the country.

In relation to the 10 scholarships that are raffled off as a prize for participating in the survey, the Academy has several teaching sectors, among which are the category of business, programming, LegalTech and investments. There is a catalog of more than 30 courses available on the platform and they are available for beginners and advanced students as well, in the trading environment, network architecture, regulation of crypto assets, among other things.
