THE EthRio, international event on the use of the Ethereum network and its native currency, Ether, which will take place between March 12 and 18, 2022, foresees the presentation of projects to investors. It will be on the last day for a group of regional projects that will undergo rigorous curation. “The aim is to give developers access to relevant investors and venture capital funds.
In this event, selected startups participate for free. Investors will pay to participate, according to EthRio’s presentation.
The conference runs from March 14th to 16th and is the first independent blockchain and ethereum in Rio for creators, developers and experts on the subject. Organizers hope this will help make the city an Ethereum hub.
But, for those who want to start getting involved with blockchain or want to understand more about the subject, on the 17th there will be the Open Day. On that day, activities will include panels and workshops on the technology and what comes from it, cryptoattractants and security issues , for example.
The event will also feature workshops from March 15th to 17th for up to 50 people. “These are opportunities for sponsors to show or teach users about their platforms or encourage community discussions,” says the presentation.
From March to June, an exhibition of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) art is planned at the Museum of Tomorrow, where the event will take place.
There is Bootcamp, that is, intensive programming training, from Web2 to Web3. Thus, they will learn basic questions of Web3.0. It will be a course for 50 people and half of them will come from needy communities. This action is even planned to be repeated in other Latin American countries. Who will coordinate this is Solange Gueiros, who is among the greatest experts in ethereum programming in the country and is one of the organizers of the event. The bootcamp is expected to take place from March 12th to 14th.
Other topics related to the event also include how to scale the Ethereum, ecosystems in Brazil and Latin America, metaverse, actions in ESG (environmental, social and governance), and autonomous decentralized organizations (DAOs).
