Zro Bank and Itaú are two more companies in the financial world that are carrying out actions in the metaverse. So, follow the steps of Banco do Brasil, the first bank in the country to join the metaverse with a virtual city, and other companies like Adidas, which use the space to bring their brands closer to younger audiences and even in internal actions.
Since last week, employees of the multi-currency bank Zro Bank use their avatars to access the virtual office in Metaverso, which is at plataforma Gather mhttps://gather.town.
According to the head of marketing at fintech, Cazou Vilela, “remote work is a reality that will remain post-pandemic. However, despite all the gains it brings, we have a significant loss in the humanization and social relations component that physical offices provide us. And that’s why we’re looking for tools to bring the best of both models together. We want to break the paradigms of working from home.”, he stated.
Zro Bank says it will be able to carry out selection processes, team meetings, conversations with suppliers and conferences in the auditorium. In addition, it can be a space for a “coffee break”, to play games and chat with colleagues. For now, the space is for corporate processes.
But, “it could be adapted in the future for the implementation of customer support service, in an experience much more interactive than a chat. In the future, we also intend to launch financial products along these lines”, completed Vilela.
Metaverse is banks’ bet for business and engagement actions
Itaú has transformed the challenge #2022InUmaWord of the real world to the metaverse. The challenge is part of the “Made With @’s” campaign, which puts a series of challenges on TikTok and Instagram. The idea is for people to publish videos that, if chosen, are shown on billboards in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
But now the bank wants to “explore the end-of-year concept and message in a special format for gamers,” according to the statement. The challenge will also be at Cidade Alta, Outplay’s RolePlay server.
As with the original action, the server’s billboards will have virtual pieces along the same lines as what was created in the real world. The metaverse action was conceived with DRUID, Itaú’s gamer agency.
