Which side of life do you prefer, the happy or the whining, sad one? A cartoon by the Brazilian graphic artist Genildo Rochin, who is based on this issue and who has been quviralized in recent days around the world, will now become a non-fungible token (NFT).

The cartoon is from 2013. With the phrase “Choose the happy side of life”, the artist portrayed two people on a bus. One looks at a gray wall with no horizon. The face is one of dismay. No fun in life. The other is on the side of the vehicle where the landscape is sunny and the view is of mountains with even a river passing by. And of course you are smiling. And filming the scene with the cell phone, after all, who wants to share the image of a gray wall?

According to a report by Marina Lourenço in Folha de S. Paulo today (3), with the fame of the cartoon that became a meme in various ways, Genildo Rochin is going to transform it em NFT. However, there is still no price definition.

The design appeared on his birthday, August 24th. It came from the real fact that I passed through a vacant lot, dirty and smelly when I went to work. “Sometimes I walked along the path with my eyes closed and holding my breath.” He realized he could change that by looking away, where he saw the sunset.

There are already several versions of the cartoon in different languages ​​and with different texts that point to opposite situations. As it is on several social media, even with an animated and music version on YouTube. Even Netflix used the cartoon to promote the second season of the series “Emily in Paris”. In two days, this one already had 366,570 likes. This one gives credit to the Brazilian, but others do not.
