Brazilian credit company guaranteed in Bitcoin receives investments to expand services

Rispar, a Brazilian fintech that offers loans in Reais backed by Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, announced that it had received an important contribution from Buena Vista Capital, a specialized asset manager and focused on global investments.

The amount of the contribution was not disclosed. The contribution made to the fintech was Buena Vista Capital’s first investment in a complete crypto-asset platform.

“With this contribution, our focus will be to strengthen our team to accelerate the delivery of more innovations to the Brazilian crypto market. We listen to our customers and prioritize new features in this sector, which incorporate the benefits of crypto assets as collateral, the more traditional lines of credit, such as auto equity, home equity and installment purchases. With this, we will continue with an extremely competitive product, offering the best credit conditions”, says Rafael Izidoro, CEO of Rispar.

Renato Nobile, CEO of the manager, believes that blockchain will transform countless industries from now on. For him, despite the great volatility of these products, the conviction transformation remains and this is proven by observing that funding in the sector only grows.

“What made us very confident in the investment was the alignment of the vision that the crypto market and the traditional financial market will converge in the near future. This makes Rispar an essential platform for customers”, he adds.

Until the moment, Rispar has already surpassed the mark of R$12 million originated and has more than 80 bitcoins collateralized in credit guarantees, which, according to the company, has already generated savings of approximately BRL 6 million in interest to its customers when comparing the rates of the crypto-backed loan model to the overdraft fees.
