oopiPay closed a partnership with French hardware wallet Ledger to purchase tokens directly from the Ledger Live app.
“As one of Ledger’s official payment methods, LoopiPay makes it easy to buy hundreds of tokens through the wallet app directly, in seconds and with no hidden fees. We are the first Brazilian company to have this integration with Ledger, something very important for our community”, reveals Ricardo Bechara, CEO of LoopiPay.
Thinking about the importance of protecting your assets and in order to prevent someone from having access to your funds, the Ledger hardware wallet guarantees that your private keys will never be exposed, through a hardware wallet in a state-of-the-art secure element, locked by PIN code.
“For Ledger it is very important to have partnerships such as LoopiPay, which in addition to being the first company in Latin America to be listed on Ledger Live, comes to make life easier for many people who want to buy, sell, exchange and receive cryptocurrencies, all through the PIX. It is an easier, faster and more available way to any Brazilian, making it a very strategic partnership”, Rodrigo Carraresi, Head of Developer Relations at Ledger.
Santos launches new NFTs
In the year of its 50th anniversary, in 1962 the Santos football club, PelĂ©’s team won all the important titles, such as the Libertadores da AmĂ©rica Cup, the Interclub World Cup, the Brazilian Championship (at the time Taça Brasil), in addition to the Paulista Championship.
And to celebrate, Santos launches, in partnership with the Block4, a collection of NFTs honoring these achievements. The 1962 Collection will have exclusive items that refer to the title of Interclub World Champion and each week it will bring fans a digital collectible.
The first are digital reproductions of tickets for the decisive matches against Benfica in Rio de Janeiro and Portugal, which the club makes available on the website.
“With Santos Futebol Club, we developed an exclusive collection that will rekindle the team’s victory in the memory of fans. Each week we will release a new collectible. We will also have t-shirts, trophies, banners, posters and a lot of different content for the fan”, says Thiago Canellas, CEO of Block4.
Surfing champions are rewarded with stablecoin
The first edition of the Red Bull Pool Clash was held last Tuesday (17), a competition in a technological wave pool, at Praia da Grama, in Itupeva (SP). At the event, the winners were awarded with Transfero’s BRZ stablecoin.
The winners of each category received 8,000 BRZs (1st place), 5,000 BRZs (2nd place) and 3,000 BRZs (3rd place).
In total, 40 athletes participated in the closed competition, divided into male and female categories, faced two free heats and were judged on performance, technique and other attributes. Among the guests were big names like Adriano Souza, world champion, Pedro Scooby and Carlos Burle.
“This competition format was totally different from what I’ve been competing in the QS and the Brazilian, and still surfing in the pool, where the wave is the same for everyone, was completely unprecedented and was sensational. On this wave, you can loose your surf, do your best, and it turned out good!”, commented the winner of the men’s category, Marcos CorrĂŞa.
For Julia Santos, who won first place among women, the event was incredible, providing a different feeling.
“This wave is amazing, all the girls surf very well. The tricks I decided to do were more in the pocket of the wave, but always sending edge tricks, not bottom ones”, she said.
