Casacor Rio de Janeiro will have, for the first time, crypto art. A collection from Metaverse Agency will be on display in the bamˈbo͞o bar 箂, by architect Gisele Taranto. Curated by Vanda Klabin and execution by architect Fabio Ema, from MetaMundi, who creates projects in the metaverse. Casacor is in its 30th edition and runs from April 27 to June 26.
The exhibition includes artworks in holographs and virtual reality glasses in an environment designed in the metaverse. The theme of the collection is “The Manifesto for the Protection of the Environment”. Casacor Rio is in the Brando Barbosa mansion, in the Botanical Garden. According to founder and CEO Byron Mendes, “this movement that is happening with the arts has already occurred in several other segments, where innovation and technology bring opportunities and changes”.
Among the artists are Rejane Cantoni, who works with interactive installations, Paula Klien, Alexandre Murucci, sculptor, award-winning set designer and art director, and photographer Beto Gatti.
