To increase the knowledge of professionals and entrepreneurs about the opportunities of Web 3, a topic that is still quite new, Yam Rikher and Wagner Miyasaki, both technology professionals, will hold the Crypto Festival, in Brotas (SP), from August 5th to 7th next. The venue for the event is CEU Foundation (Center for the Study of the Universe Foundation), one of the largest centers of astronomy and science in Latin America.
Crypto Festival will have 50 Brazilian and international speakers. The event will also feature immersive activations, as well as dynamics for both those who are on site and for those who follow the event online. The idea is to perform an immersion in Web 3.0. Among the main themes are Stablecoins (stable coins), blockchain, communities and smart contracts. In addition, there will be DAO’s, metaverse, virtual reality, mixed reality and NFTs. The idea is to make a connection between technology and culture.
Among the speakers are Carl Amorim (BRI Brazil), Alena Afanaseva, Alexandre Bezerra (Amachains), Bruna Botelho (StadiumGo) and Marcela Ribeiro (Multiledgers). The group also includes specialists such as Felipe Ribbe (sĂłcios.com), Bruno Milanello (Mercado Bitcoin), Heloisa Ribeiro (Sp4ce Games), Caroline Nunes (Inspire IP), Rafaela Romano (Impacta) and Anderson Criativo (O Novo Lab)
According to Miiyasaki, “We are experiencing a cultural movement with WEB 3.0. It is necessary to understand that crypto assets, metaverse and blockchain go far beyond the opportunity to make money”, co-founder of Crypto Festival. Therefore, “to deal with the complexity of this scenario, we brought together companies, entrepreneurs and ecosystem projects to demonstrate that these tools are essential and can positively transform communities, businesses, services and products in the coming years”.
Crypto Festival will have cultural and technological programming
“It is very important to highlight that cultural changes impact markets and consumer behavior. And vice versa. It is a feedback process, that is, the market influences the culture and the culture determines the changes in the market”, explains Miyasaki. “It is also worth noting that today these exchanges of influences between the market and culture are always mediated through technology. Hence the importance of Crypto Festival having a cultural and technological program simultaneously around Web 3.0”.
From the point of view of markets impacted by the Web 3.0 ecosystem and technologies involved in the processes, it is possible to highlight: venture capital, marketplace, e-commerce, supply chain, education, security, greentechs. But does not stop there. The fields of content production, media, entertainment, music, sports, fashion, games and much more will also be covered, for example.
Partners, speakers, sponsors and up to 1,000 people selected from a list will be able to participate at the event. Entries are available via the form on the Crypto Festival website. But, the content of the lectures will be streamed online for free through the event platform.
The choice of the city of Brotas and the CEU Foundation has a special reason: to offer participants a pleasant experience of contact with nature. In other words, the creators sought to transform the cultural and technological experience into a pleasant experience as well. “The idea is to promote an environment where people can learn, engage, connect and deepen knowledge in a relaxed way”, says Yam Rikher, co-founder of Crypto Festival. Brotas Eco Hotel Fazenda will support the event.
