The NGO Bitcoin Argentina together with Paxful and the Built With Bitcoin foundation, plan to start an educational program called “Schools and Bitcoin Project” on May 5, 2022, a program that will be dedicated to vocational guidance and training on Bitcoin and blockchain.
The information released on the blog of the NGO Bitcoin Argentina, indicates that the program aims to offer a series of open talks to the educational community, in order to publicize the details and implications of the project, where teachers and high school seniors are firstly involved in 40 educational establishments throughout Latin American the country.
“We are experiencing a historic change in the world of domestic economy and finance, with the birth of Bitcoin in 2009, a transformation began that increasingly has more users, more companies and more projects. Training young people in this technology, before they begin their university studies or take their first steps in the labor market, is to contribute and support them to insert themselves in a digital and decentralized world that is here to stay, commented Javier Madariaga, Executive Director of NGO Bitcoin Argentina.
The workshops will begin next August in dual mode (virtual-face-to-face) with the students of the participating schools, with an estimated 4,000 students who will work on the creation of pedagogical material in different formats.
The goal is to equip both institutions and students with educational resources to develop their knowledge of bitcoin and blockchain technology.
