The Brazil Conference MIT 2022, an annual event in Boston (USA) and which has become a reference in the discussion on topics related to the country, will take place this Saturday (9) and Sunday (10) and will have a panel on blockchain and cryptoassets with entrepreneurs from the sector and the Central Bank (BC). The event is organized by students from Harvard University and will bring together businessmen, academics, professionals linked to Brazilian social and political causes, including five who are moving to be candidates for the presidency of the Republic.

The speakers on the panel “Instigating Pioneering in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies” will be Fabricio Total, director of New Business for the Bitcoin Market, André Portilho, responsible for the Digital Assets area at BTG Pactual, Marcelo Sampaio, co-founder and CEO of Hashdex, and Fabio Araújo, coordinator of the real digital project in BC. Blocknews Founder and Editor-in-Chief Claudia Mancini will moderate the panel.

The event will be broadcast live on the Brazil Conference YouTube channel. “We are going to show how the crypto universe can propose innovative solutions to real problems,” says Tota.

The group also includes names such as Carlos Nobre, Researcher of Causes Related to Global Warming, and Cármen Lúcia, Minister of the Federal Supreme Court,

There will be a Saturday with João Dória (PSDB), Simone Tebet (PMDB), Ciro Gomes (PDT) and Sérgio Moro (União Brasil). Eduardo Leite (PSDB), former governor of Rio Grande do Sul and who also intends to be a candidate, will be a panelist.
