First Blockchain Academy Chile Ideathon concludes with 4 award-winning projects

On February 26, the first Ideathon of blockchain academy Chile resulted in four winning projects in this first edition as those responsible for the virtual event hinted at Cointelegraph Español.

The winning projects in question turned out to be Daovotion (Solution based on smart contracts DAO), TNBG (apps mobile for managing co-livings), Locales Conectados (Web3 solution for warehouse management) and Clinical Records (Solution for portability and consultation of patient information).

The idea in this event was to introduce various participants to the business aspects of blockchain technology and the business model for building its use.

The event had the virtual participation of just over a hundred people from different parts of Latin America. The event that was developed in two stages with a total duration of eight hours.

The first part focused on teaching topics related to the technical foundations and basic concepts of blockchain, use cases to provide a greater perspective to the participants about the projects that are currently being developed and how to use the methodology.

In the second part of the ideathon, the participants worked on the construction of their use cases by implementing the tools provided by the instructors.. The participants had the opportunity to dialogue with the mentors and receive feedback on their ideas.

Some prominent members of the regional blockchain community were present at both stages, including representatives from Conflux, Avalanche and Celo.

The Academic Director of Blockchain Academy Chile Cristobal Pereira, commented: “It is interesting to know the ideas that people have when this type of space is opened to the entire community, this really convinces me more and more that Latin Americans can lead the development of projects crypto & blockchain in our same region, we just need to have more spaces like these to be able to provide the support and tools for entrepreneurs to start working on those crazy ideas they have in their heads and transform them into real ventures”.
